Buckle up! Week 6 has nine games at 1:00 pm EST and two games at 4:00 pm EST. I will keep you up-to-date on the latest news, injuries, and scores throughout the afternoon.
Good luck in Week 6.
Melvin Gordon (RB – DEN)
K.J. Hamler (WR – DEN)
Mo Alie-Cox (TE – IND)
4:00 PM EST Schedule
Jets – Dolphins
Packers – Buccaneers
(4:25) RB Myles Gaskin for the Dolphins has been integral for Miami’s offense so far with five rushes for 40 yards as well as two receptions on two targets. Of course, as the Jets start honing in on Gaskin, it’s TE Adam Shaheen (not Mike Gesicki… another obscure TE alert) who comes away with the Dolphins first score.
1:00 PM EST Final Scores
Texans 36 – Titans 42 (OT)
Bengals 27 – Colts 31
Falcons 40 – Vikings 23
Broncos 18 – Patriots 12
Washington 19 – Giants 20
Ravens 30 – Eagles 28
Browns 7 – Steelers 38
Bears 23 – Panthers 16
Lions 34 – Jaguars 16
(4:23) The Eagles are pounding their way toward the end zone with over two minutes left in the game. QB Carson Wentz pushes in a touchdown. A two-point conversion will tie the game in an incredible comeback attempt. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be. The Eagles came up short.
(4:15) RB Henry rushes in a five-yard touchdown to finish the game in overtime. Titans win 42-36.
(4:12) Eagles score a late TD to WR Travis Fulgham, last week’s Philadelphia MVP. Two-point conversion to Arcega-Whiteside is good. Eagles trail only by eight points with 3:48 still to go against the Ravens.
(4:10) Bears Defense intercept QB Teddy Bridgewater yet again. The Bears lead 23-16 with 1:28 in the fourth quarter.
(4:01) Vikings rookie WR Jefferson has himself a two-touchdown game as well. Minnesota is trying valiantly to come back on the Falcons 40-23 with 1:26 left to go.
(3:58) Washington WR Cam Sims comes down with a touchdown pass and instead of going kicking the field goal to tie the game, HC Rov Rivera opts for a two-point conversion, which is unsuccessful. They trail the Giants 19-20 with just over 30 seconds left in the game.
(3:55) The Falcons keep adding to their lead, this time it’s the TE Hayden Hurst with a touchdown. Falcons lead 40-15 as they look to get their first win of the season. There is 2:05 left to play in the game.
(3:49) Cousins touchdown to WR Adam Thielen. Two-point conversion with TE Smith is good. Vikings add to their score but trail 33-15.
(3:45) Giants Defense comes up with a scoop and score on an Allen fumble.
Jaguars RB James Robinson finds the end zone on a swing pass from Minshew. Jaguars trail the Lions 34-16.
(3:40) Benny Snell (not James Conner) scores a touchdown for the Steelers. They pile onto their lead, which is now 38-7.
(3:36) If anyone knows who the Eagles’ new tight end Jason Croom is, let the rest of us know. He is just the latest in obscure TEs scoring touchdowns today. The two-point conversion to WR Gred Ward is successful. The Eagles trail the Ravens 24-14.
Miles Sanders is now questionable to return with a hamstring injury for the Eagles and TE Zach Ertz is jogging off the field while the Eagles are in the red zone. Ertz returned to the field after missing only one play.
(3:32) Not to be outdone, WR Will Fuller hauls in a 53-yard touchdown pass against the Titans. They are now tied 29-29 in an exciting matcup with 8:37 to play in the fourth quarter.
TE Jack Doyle scores for the Colts. They are now on top of the Bengals 28-27.
(3:30) We shouldn’t be surprised, but RB Derrick Henry scores a 94-yard touchdown for the Titans. Ninety-four yards. Nine four. Wow. Titans are up 29-23.
Far fewer yards, but still a touchdown, RB Mike Davis for the Panthers scores on a one-yard run. Doesn’t have the same ring to it as 94. Panthers trail the Bears 20-13.
(3:24) Mayfield is now on the sidelines with a headset on. QB Case Keenum is in at quarterback for the Browns.
(3:23) We another player with a two-touchdown game. Swift for the Lions runs in another touchdown for a 31-10 lead over the Jaguars.
(3:19) Claypool finds the end zone for the Steelers. They lead the Browns a whopping 31-7. Mayfeild is still in the game after a breather during half-time.
Benglas score a 55-yard field goal to extend their lead to six points 27-21.
(3:10) Julio Jones scores another touchdown for the Falcons and Lamar Jackson rushes in for a Ravens touchdown. After RB David Montgomery’s touchdown was reversed, Foles runs on in for one-yard touchdown for the Bears.
Jones for the Giants throws an interception. Washington’s defense continues to impress.
(3:05) If you are playing against RB Miles Sanders you can rejoice! If you started him, you can also rejoice (sort of)! He rips off a huge run but fumbles it right in front of the end zone. WR J.J. Arcega-Whiteside for the Eagles recovers in the end zone to get points for the touchdown. I promise this happened. Whoever is responsible for appeasing the fantasy gods on this one… well done. Sanders should get credit for the run, but not for the score.
The two-point conversion was unsuccessful, by the way.
(3:05) Randall Cobb sighting! He pulls in a touchdown or Houston after J.J. Watt strip sacks QB Ryan Tannehill.
(3:00) Vikings QB Kirk Cousins has already thrown three interceptions. They are looking at fourth down with four yards to go in the red zone. They elect to go for it and TE Irv Smith makes a critical first down catch. Rookie WR Justin Jefferson comes down with a touchdown to finally get Minnesota on the board.
Panthers miss a field goal. The Bears still lead 13-is 6.
(2:55) WR Kenny Golladay makes a miraculous catch to bring the Lions into the red zone. The Lions go for it on fourth down after three incomplete passes in a row. QB Matthew Stafford completes a short pass to TE T.J. Hockenson for a Lions touchdown. They continue to lead the Jaguars 23-3
(2:52) Instead of giving the ball to RB David Johnson, the Texans give WR Brandin Cooks the ball to rush for a touchdown attempt. It obviously didn’t work. On the following play, Houston ditches the cute ideas and gives it to Johnson for a touchdown.
(2:48) Another turnover for the Bears. RB Mike Davis had the ball punched out for a fumble recovery. The celebration was short-lived as QB Nick Foles immediately threw an interception.
(2:45) Broncos are spending quite a bit of time in the red zone. TE Albert Okwuegbunam could not come down with the touchdown pass from his former teammate, QB Drew Lock. WR Tim Patrick draws a penalty for a fresh set of downs but the Patriots Defense force the Broncos to look at fourth and goal. They opt for the field goal, which is good. Denver leads 15-3.
(2:40) Starting the third quarter, Newton is sacked. New England was able to recover, but punted after only three plays. Newton is also taking a beating in this game.
QB Philip Rivers throws a touchdown pass to WR Zach Pascal to bring the score to 24-21 in favor of the Bengals.
Mayfield takes a beating from the Steelers and looks a little rough. We’ll keep an eye on his status as they head into half-time.
(2:23) QB Baker Mayfield throws his first touchdown of the day after two interceptions to a wide open Rashard Higgins. They trail the Steelers 24-7.
(2:15) Burton scores his second touchdown of the day for the Colts. They trail by 10 to the Bengals.
TE Logan Thomas for Washington scores his second touchdown of the year.
Steelers linebacker Devin Bush is spotted heading into the medical tent.
Houston kicks a field goal to pick away at the Titans lead.
Mr. Reliable K Matt Prater’s kick is good for the Lions who lead 17-3. For now.
(2:05) Falcons WR Calvin Ridley scores a touchdown against the Vikings and Steelers WR James Washington catches a long bomb downfield for a touchdown after a Steelers interception on the Browns.
Bengals kick a successful 40 plus yard field goal.
WR Adam Humphries scores a touchdown for the Titans who are ahead of the Texans 21-7.
Panthers line up to go for it on fourth down and draw a Bears penalty near the six-yard line but they settle for a field goal.
(2:00) Let’s just keep the un-rostered TE touchdowns going. Colts’ TE Trey Burton gets Indianapolis on the board while the Patriots finally get a score with a field goal.
(1:51) Ravens and Giants both kick field goals. Ravens lead 17-0 over the Eagles and the Giants lead Washington 13-3.
Steelers WR Chase Claypool, who had a four-touchdown game last week, makes a big catch to set up a rushing touchdown for RB James Conner.
I see you pulling off a 40-yard run, Daniel Jones.
(1:48) Joe Mixon pounds through the Colts Defense for a Bengals touchdown. They are ahead 21-0.
Lions intercept Jaguars’ QB Gardner Minshew. Detroit is back on offense with a 14-3 lead.
TE Darren Fells pulls in a touchdown reception for the Texans to finally get on the board.
Washington and the Bears kick a field goal.
(1:38) The Falcons Defense must have found some new life. They are standing tall against the Vikngs who have yet to score.
Ravens’ RB Gus Edwards rushes in for a touchdown. They lead the Eagles 14-0
Lions’ RB D’Andre Swift carried the team on his scoring drive and gets the pay-off with a touchdown. Lions lead 14-3.
Giants find the end zone with a pass to WR Darius Slayton.
(1:33) Titans also go up 14-0 on the Texans with a touchdown pass to WR A.J. Brown.
Bengals go up 14-0 on the vaunted Colts Defense with a touchdown for RB Giovani Bernard early in the first quarter and a rushing touchdown for QB Joe Burrow.
(1:26) Panthers and Jaguars all kick successful field goals. Exciting.
(1:25) If you’re sleeping on Washington’s defense (like I am) it may be time to wake up. They already have an interception and just sacked Newton.
(1:15) Touchdown for TE Anthony Firkser and the Tennessee Titans. Because we all started Firkser in our lineups. And Nick Boyle. It may be one of those weeks.
We have another interception, this time it’s Minkah Fitzpatrick for a pick-six against the Browns.
Broncos defense also comes up big with an interception against QB Cam Newton and the Patriots. It’s like Oprah right now giving away turnovers. Broncos settle for a field goal.
(1:12) QB Lamar Jackson scrambles out of the pocket and finds … no, not TE Mark Andrews, but TE Nick Boyle for a Ravens touchdown.
Adrian Peterson rushes in a touchdown for the Lions after dealing with an illness during the week. Lions are ahead 7-0, for now. It’s the Lions, so keep an eye on their progress.
Bears TE Cole Kmet scores a touchdown for the Bears in the ensuing drive after a big interception against the Panthers.
(1:04) Vikings QB Kirk Cousins throws an interception. The Falcons under interim head coach Raheem Morris enter the red zone and QB Matt Ryan throws a touchdown to Julio Jones.
Denver settles for a field goal against the Patriots and the Steelers also are forced to kick a field against their division rivals, the Cleveland Browns. QB Ben Roethlisberger looks frustrated.
