“When COVID-19 hit, I knew that as a community-focused organization we had to continue supporting our community in any way we possibly could,” #WCMFounder/CEO Ashley K. Stoyanov states. “While the weekly Instagram Lives and webinars were reaching an international audience and were a valuable resource, we wanted a way to help further connect the rising womxn songwriter community on a local level, as well as help support local music venues who truly make the local music scenes in these communities special. We have always wanted our events to be a place where womxn songwriters can find their next collaborators for shows and to share resources, and we hope that we can continue doing that even if it is virtually through this pandemic.”
The tour will continue through mid-December, spotlighting a new city or region every two weeks. In addition to songwriter showcases, #WCM is also teaming up with local industry professionals to host panel discussions and webinars in each market.
The “WomxnCrush Music On Tour: Spotlight On South Florida and Atlanta Webinar” will be held Tuesday, August 25 at 2 PM ET. Designed to help artists take their careers to the next level, the Webinar will feature local music industry professionals Audrey Gámez (Education Director, C4 Atlanta) and Gabriela Ortega (Sr. Label Manager, Warner Music Latina).

Aymber mixes her dreamy vocals with memorable melodies and honest lyrics to create music that turns bad feelings into something beautiful.
The Miami based artist began her musical journey in 2012, after losing her job. She spent her last paycheck on a guitar from a pawn shop and wrote her first song that same night.
From there, she began singing at local open mics and eventually took on a gig as a backup singer. After performing around the U.S. for a little over a year, she decided to do music on her own.
In 2016, Aymber released her first EP Easy which lead her to work with and open for more established artists like Shaun Martin (Snarky Puppy), The Pointer Sisters and Eric Biddines.
In 2018, Aymber signed with A2F Publishing and released her debut album Write It All Down in December the following year. The album peaked at number 11 on the iTunes R&B Charts, and her single “Chil”l has over 150,000 streams on Spotify.
