Forshaw on today’s game
“I think it might be quite open. Swansea have something to play for, they’ll have seen the results yesterday and think they can get into the play-offs.
“I think it might suit us, that’s what I’m hoping for anyway!”
“I’m probably two or three weeks from being in training with the team. Hopefully I’ll be able to be with them for pre-season, I’ll just miss the end of the season which is a shame.”
As expected, Bielsa names an unchanged line-up for this afternoon’s game against Swansea.
Mateusz Bogusz has been named on the bench in place of Jordan Stevens otherwise it is the same squad from Thursday.
Leeds United appeared to come through Thursday’s clash with Stoke City at Elland Road without any injury worries.
United are expected to line-up the same in South Wales.
Swansea also played in midweek as they defeated Birmingham City. Steve Cooper said he had no new injury concerns after the clash at St Andrew’s while Jordon Garrick returns from suspension.
“We go there ready, fit and all with one goal. Everybody knows it now.
“It will not be the same game as Stoke City, it will be really different.
“Swansea’s a good team with good players.”
Gjanni Alioski on today’s game
“Every match is a new story.
“It is very difficult to imagine an easy match for us, it doesn’t exist in the Championship.”
Marcelo Bielsa – Leeds United head coach
“They’re top of the league for a reason.
“They have a clear way of playing and have some good players.
“But you’ve got to look forward to this and thrive on it.
“If you want to achieve, these are the games you’ve got to play well in and win.”
Steve Cooper – Swansea City head coach
A Leeds United matchday is upon us once more… with Brentford winning the gap to third place is just three points again.
West Brom, though, were held at Blackburn yesterday which has opened up a chance for Leeds to go clear at the top with a victory this afternoon.
We’ll have every kick right here from Wales… so stay tuned!
