(MENAFN) The 26th China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair started online on Thursday in Lanzhou, capital of northwest China’s Gansu Province, with 587 projects worth 273 billion yuan (about USD38.6 billion) signed at the opening ritual.
A total of 25 online display halls have been set up for exhibitions, promotions, and business docking, including online national pavilions of Hungary and Georgia, the two guests of honor at this year’s fair.
A high-level opportunity on the Silk Road collaboration and development will also be concurrently held during the four-day event, with the theme of developing economic and trade collaboration and endorsing green growth.
First held in 1993, the fair helps as a window for the opening of northwestern China, and has become a main event for Belt and Road economic and trade collaboration.
